Bill Bennett's Ignorant Comments...

Billy Made Comments Stating That Aborting Black Infants Would Reduce The Crime Rate...

For a while now, I've noticed that some racists have found today's political climate conducive to them making all kinds of hateful comments. The most recent type of comments came from Conservative Commentator and former Secretary of Education (Reagan Administration) Bill Bennett. And folks like him claim to advocate family values. So much for that. *shrug*

On Bennett's radio program, "Morning In America", he made a comment about aborting black infants to reduce the crime rate in response to a caller's comment. Then he went on to say, "That would be an impossible, ridiculous and morally reprehensible thing to do, but your crime rate would go down." Was that some half-hearted pre-apology that he was providing to cover his behind if someone tried to call him on it or what? Would Bennett have advocated the mothers of killers Jeffrey Dahmer and Tim McVeigh aborting them? But no, he was suggesting that black folks have a monopoly on crime.

Instead of apologizing, Bennett is now saying that others should apologize to him for misrepresenting his words. Say what? However, the "POINT" is that he never should have said that at all. At times like this I wonder where are folks like Bill Cosby and the black conservatives such as Rev. Creflo Dollar and former Congressmen J.C. Watts and Gary Franks. Then people like Michael Steele, the Lieutenant Govenor for the State of Maryland, wonder why black folks have a hard time voting for his fellow conservatives who agree with and spout that kind of ignorance. WHAT?? Ok I have seriously been out of the loop when it comes to the news. This is just unbelievable! There have always been racists, but why are they all of a sudden feeling like they can just say whatever they want?

That is one class act of a man isn't he? And ignorance never ceases to amaze me when it comes from asses that should know better...

I'm just loving how all this mess is coming to the surface. I'm still livid with the "brother" who tried to justify his comment as just being hypothetical scenario ...point blank, it wasn't called for.
